my story
hi! i'm kiren, the founder of halva beauty.
growing up in an indian household, hair oiling was a cherished sunday ritual. my mom would massage her own special oil blend into my sister’s and my hair, just as generations before her had done. rooted in indian beauty traditions, that simple act of care stayed with me and inspired me to think beyond the scalp.
i began to wonder if these oils could nourish hair, why not brows too. using those same time honored ingredients, i created a clean and vegan brow oil for thinning or overplucked eyebrows. it felt personal, effective, and deeply connected to my heritage.
what started in my nyc kitchen is now a modern brow ritual crafted with organic oils and a soft touch of citrus. halva beauty is my way of honoring the traditions that raised me and reimagining them for today.

why halva?
i named my brand after bombay halwa, the jewel toned, square cut sweet I grew up seeing at celebrations. made with silky cornflour, sugar, cardamom, and cashews, its glossy orange glow always stood out on the dessert table.
just as those simple ingredients come together to create something vibrant and lasting, this brow oil brings together time honored oils passed down through generations. both carry a sense of tradition, care, and quiet indulgence.
halva beauty is my way of honoring those memories and reimagining them for modern beauty. each product is made to nourish from the inside out.
