halva beauty founder applying the halva beauty nourishing brow oil

my story

growing up in an indian household, hair oiling was a cherished ritual. my mom would massage almond and castor oils into my sister’s and my hair every sunday, just like generations before us. rooted in south asian beauty traditions, this practice inspired me to think beyond the scalp.

i started wondering: if these oils could nourish hair, why not brows too? using those same time-honored ingredients, i created a clean, vegan brow oil specifically for thinning or overplucked eyebrows. one that’s effective, personal, and deeply rooted in heritage.

what began in my nyc kitchen is now a luxury brow oil, made with organic oils and a touch of citrus. it’s crafted for modern beauty and honors my heritage and traditions that inspired it.

why halva

i named my brand after halva, the jewel toned, square cut bombay sweet i grew up seeing at celebrations. made with silky cornflour, sugar, cardamom, and studded with cashews, its glossy orange glow always stood out on the dessert table.

just as those simple ingredients come together to create something vibrant and lasting, this brow oil blends time honored oils passed down through generations.

both are rooted in tradition, care, and a touch of indulgence, made to nourish from the inside out.
